Viejo San Juan

After meeting in the lobby, we headed to a restaurant called Basilia's for breakfast.  We had pancakes and eggs, ham and hash browns.  It was delicious!

Our tour bus picked us up from the restaurant and took us to Old San Juan. Lots of shopping!!

Old San Juan is beautiful.  There were courtyards and squares with statues and foliage.

We visited some souvenir shops and places to snack.  We visited a beautiful church and walked down to the water and saw the governor's mansion.

We met back at the main square where the statue of Christopher Columbus was located.  After a short break (and some virgin Pina Coladas) we spent a couple more hours touring the city.  Ibrahim took some photos with Iguanas.

At 3:00 P.M., we made reservations at a nice restaurant called Raices which means Roots. he restaurant reflects the early days of the colonization of Puerto Rico. Everyone had delicious meals, like skirt steak and mahi mahi.

After dinner, we boarded our tour bus back to the hotel.  We spent the rest of the night swimming, relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow!
